The latest measures announced during the tabling of the federal budget on February 27, 2018 more or less finalized the tax reform affecting private corporations initiated by Finance Minister Bill Morneau in July 2017.
To inform you about these new changes and the impacts of the reform, the Financial held six information sessions in Montreal, Québec City, Longueuil, Sherbrooke and Laval from March 28 to 31, 2018. In addition, two webinars (one in French, the other in English) were also broadcast, and rebroadcasts are still available.
Excellent speaker, makes things understandable*
Our information sessions, facilitated by our tax specialists Benoit Chaurette and Shan-Shan Chua, attracted 193 participants. As for the webinars, they were much appreciated by the 54 persons who participated in the initial broadcast of the French version (March 13) and the 13 persons who took part in the initial broadcast of the English version (March 19). Another 60 persons have, to date, viewed a rebroadcast.
