Bernard Fortin, Vice-President, Private Management at FDP, was also recently appointed Vice-Chair of the Board of the Institut québécois de planification financière (IQPF).
This month he is in the IQPF Spotlight. In an interview, he explains why and how he strives to better understand people. Coming from the world of investment, Bernard Fortin is passionate about people. This is what led him to become a financial planner, then a financial planner team manager. To better understand people, he is focusing on applied ethics as part of the doctorate he is pursuing in business administration, with a major in management, at Université Laval. As part of his duties, he is involved in giving back to his profession and having a more direct impact on its development.
