Board Director
Ms. Carole Chapdelaine sits on the boards of directors of Professionals’ Financial and Professionals’ Financial – Mutual Funds.
Ms. Chapdelaine has worked in the banking sector and performed a variety of functions, mainly with two major Canadian banks.
From 1985 to 2011, she held various positions at RBC, both in personal banking and business services. She also led the internal training team for the Quebec region and worked on savings product development at the bank’s head office in Toronto.
In 2011, Ms. Chapdelaine continued her career at Scotiabank, where she held the position of Executive Vice-President for the Quebec and Eastern Ontario region. She was responsible for managing a network of 165 branches and more than 2,000 employees. She implemented a growth plan for Quebec, where she opened many new branches in high-growth areas before retiring in 2018.
She has served on the boards of directors of subsidiary companies of Scotiabank (National Trust, Montreal Trust, ADS, Bank of Nova Scotia Trust Co.) as well as on other boards of directors as a volunteer (Les Grands Ballets Canadiens, Pointe-à-Callière Museum).
Holder of a Master’s degree in financial services (UQAM, 1999) with a specialization in financial planning, she has applied her skills in human resources management and customer service throughout her career.
