Mr. Daniel Solomon is Vice-President and Chief Investment Officer for fdp Private Management. In this capacity, he is responsible for the management of the group’s investments and oversees the responsible investment process, particularly the integration of ESG factors into all of the firm’s investment policies, at both fdp Mutual Funds and fdp Private Management.
Over the course of more than 25 years in the Canadian investment industry, Mr. Solomon performed various roles in client relationship management in an investment context, before focusing on analysis, research and investment management. He has held key positions in renowned companies — BMO Mutual Funds, BMO Nesbitt Burns, NEI Investments, Canadian Medical Association (CMA) — where he constantly strived for innovation and performance.
Daniel Solomon holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration – Finance from the Université de Sherbrooke (M.Sc.). He also holds several professional designations in wealth management, including Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
