Dr Carl Tremblay is Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of Professionals’ Financial and sits on the Board of Directors of Professionals’ Financial – Mutual Funds.
After obtaining his degree in dentistry from the Université de Montréal in 1992, Dr. Carl Tremblay worked as a general dental practitioner in his Rouyn-Noranda clinic until the end of 2018.
From his very beginnings, he was involved in the Abitibi-Témiscamingue dental society as secretary and he still works on behalf of his fellow dentists today as treasurer of the society. Dr. Tremblay has also been active in the Association des chirurgiens dentistes du Québec (ACDQ) since 2005, holding various positions. He became president of the association in late 2019.
An engaged professional, Dr. Tremblay is involved in many areas of activity: he holds a certificate in financial planning and has a keen interest in personal finance. He has been a member of the higher education council of Rouyn-Noranda and of the Kiwanis Club International. He also served as a volunteer with the Canadian ski patrol and was a member of the board of directors of the Mont Kanasuta downhill ski team.
