As Director, Manager of Managers and Portfolio Optimization for Professionals’ Financial – Mutual Funds Inc. and Professionals’ Financial – Private Management Inc., François Leblanc is responsible for the due diligence review and selection of external managers, based on a set of criteria including the integration of ESG factors. He is also responsible for monitoring and supervising external and internal management mandates to ensure that the investment objectives are met.
Working in finance and investment since 2000, François Leblanc joined the fdp – Private Management team in 2006, first as a securities trader for Private Management and Mutual Funds, then as a Canadian equity analyst for Private Management and Mutual Funds. He subsequently joined the manager of managers team as an analyst and assistant director.
François Leblanc holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.A.A.) from HEC Montréal (1999), the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation (2012), and various certifications from the Canadian Securities Institute. He is also a member of the Montreal Society of Financial Analysts.
